The 1st Annual Hudson HEFferfest Tailgate BBQ Cookoff and Food Festival will take place on Saturday September 8, at the Hudson Elks Lodge, 99 Park St. Hudson, MA. This will be the final NEBS Tailgate event of the 2012 Contest Season, and spots are still available.
The points from this event will count towards 2012 NEBS Tailgate Team of the Year, which is still a wide open race, so don't delay in getting your entry form in.
Tailgate Contests are geared toward newer and/or in-experienced teams, and are a great way to get started in competitive BBQ. They are smaller and more laid-back than KCBS Barbeque or NEBS Grilling Contests.
If you are unable to enter this particular event, come on down anyway and check out the scene.
Proceeds benefit the Hudson Education Foundation.
