The Tailgate Team of the Year (TOY) results posted here are the final results for 2012.

NEBS Tailgate Contests shall consist of two (2) categories and shall otherwise follow all NEBS Grilling Rules and Scoring Systems.

• To be eligible for NEBS Tailgate Team of the Year, teams must participate in at least two (2) NEBS Tailgate Contests in the same contest year.
• NEBS Tailgate Team of the Year shall be awarded to the team with the highest combined total score of their two (2) best overall scores of that Tailgate contest season.
• NEBS Tailgate contest season shall be the same as the NEBS contest season.
• NEBS Tailgate Team of the Year shall be awarded at the same times as all NEBS Team of the Year awards.

To be eligible for NEBS Tailgate Team of the Year, the team's Pit Boss MUST be a NEBS member at the time of the contest.
