Harvard Fall Festival

The BBQ Cookoff at the Harvard Fall Festival has become a regular stop for BBQ teams from the Northeast and beyond competing for (and winning) top honors at the national level at BBQ contests such as the American Royal in Kansas City (the“World Series” of competition BBQ) and the Jack Daniels Invitational in Memphis among others. Our contest was proclaimed a State Championship contest by proclamation from Governor Deval Patrick in 2008 so each year, the winning team from Harvard has the opportunity to compete at the American Royal in Kansas City.

The weekend BBQ contests include two competitive events; the NEBS grilling contest – with turn-in and judging from 2-4 on Saturday, and the KCBS contest, with turn-in and judging from 12-2 on Sunday.
