Unlike most BBQ contests, almost all of the BBQ teams are selling food at this event, so it’s a great way to try a variety of food prepared by competition teams.

This is a combined KCBS and NEBS cooking contest that is also a qualifier for the World Food Championships for all four NEBS category winners, and the KCBS grand champion. Unlike past Green Mountain events, this one is being held in a campground and not a large public space, so it’s more focused on the cook teams than the general public.
The four NEBS categories are Bacon, Recipe (chicken), Sandwich, and Dessert.
This contest counts for both the NEBS Classic and Ken Dakai cup TOY races.
