This class will train you as KCBS Certified Table Captain (CTC). Table Captains help the KCBS Contest Representives with the execution of the judging process at a KCBS BBQ contest. Students will participate in a class which will teach them the role of a Certified Table Captain in helping contest judging run smoothly and ensure that rules are enforced consistently and fairly. The class will be taught by a certified Kansas City Barbeque Society Judge Instructor.
You do not have to be a Certified Barbecue Judge (CBJ) to take this class. If you would also like to become a judge, we offer a CBJ class earlier on the same day.
Registration is done online only. Paying online is highly recommended, but you may also pay by mail. If you pay by mail, we MUST have your payment no later than March 20th.
